I wonder what kind of motivation teams feel when they are in the US to win. I know when they play in Asia or other continents there is some pressure to make a good showing to develop stronger followings, but I wonder how much teams like Man U figure they can convince people to follow them (and buy stuff) by putting on a good show here.
I would have followed Duck's advice until I watched the pathetic display that AC Milan put on tonight. They couldn't wait to get back on the plane because their focus was on the Italian Super Cup match against Juventus this weekend.
Juventus got in a good match against Barcelona the other night and I think they just go through the motions here. They want to stay healthy and head back to Italy. I see a very focused Manchester United squad and I think they'll easily handle Juventus in this spot. The Red Devils are enjoying this tour. They are having fun but playing well at the same time.
